Changes to the Royal Pahang Merdeka playing schedule
Due to the late pull-out of Head Hunters due to a suspected Surra outbreak at Leisure Farm, we have had to, once again, reformat the Royal Pahang Merdeka League Tournament.
Head Hunters was in Group C the largest group with 5 teams. With their pull-out, it leaves 4 teams in Group C, as in the other two groups. As such we now have 3 groups of 4 equal teams. The new format is as follows:
- Teams play "inside" their group: 3 group games.
- Winner of each group into the semi-finals
- Best loser (4th place in league table) into semi-finals.
- Draw for semi-final match-ups
- Placings for 5th to 12th to be decided by one match (5th vs 6th in table, 7th ve 8th, etc.)
