Unbeaten BRDB wins third tournament this year

BRDB won their third straight tournament of the new polo season as they defeated a stubborn Carnoustie Lions side at the RSPC National League Tournament at the Royal Selangor Polo Club yesterday.  

Dato’ Mohamed Moiz, the chairman of BRDB and captain of their top ranked polo team, fractured his right ankle in a hard ride-off in the very first chukka of the final.  He never left the field, taking just a few minutes to get over the pain.  Dato’ Mohamed played on, through the pain, to inspire his BRDB side to come back and beat Carnoustie Lions in an enthralling final.
